2007 Crossfire 800 Tech Notes

WKP Exhaust Silencer

During the cold of winter we received a few reports of erratic performance with our 800 silencers.  The reports were, that after installing silencer the customer lost 5-10 mph.

We wanted to make sure our data was ok so we went back out and ran more tests.  We still had great results after running our field tests, so we needed to talk with the customer a bit more.  After asking a few questions we found out that the customer was running more then just the silencer!  He had also installed a high flow intake and Y-pipe, but had made no fuel adjustments.  We have tested this IN THE FIELD, you need fuel adjustments if running any major performance enhancing products.  Anyways, here is our data from the test.
